Who's behind it

I'm Stephen. I've visited 60 vineyards across 15 counties, completed WSET Level 3 in Wine with Distinction, and work in search and data strategy, including for drinks brands.

Vinebound started as the tool I wanted for planning my own visits.

Who reads it

  • 2,400+ visitors in September, up from about 1,800 in June
  • 60%+ of visitors with a known location are in London
  • 2,500 followers on Instagram and TikTok, plus a growing newsletter

2026 is Vinebound's first full visiting season. Most visitors are in the UK, planning day trips, weekends away and special occasions, and looking up which English wines are worth trying. London readers are the largest group, but I cover vineyards across 15 counties, so you don't need to be on a London train line to be relevant.

Samples and independence

  • Samples are welcome Receiving one doesn't guarantee coverage. I don't take payment for reviews, and I'll say when a wine was a sample.
  • Visits are better When possible I'd rather taste at the vineyard. I'm based at the very bottom of Surrey, on the borders of Hampshire and West Sussex.
