Book now → - Grape harvest Hanwell Wine Estate, Nottinghamshire A day of grape picking with the family-run vineyard, starting with a briefing at 9.30am or 10.30am and finishing between 3pm and 5pm. Drinks, snacks and a sandwich lunch are included, and volunteers aged 18 and over take home a bottle of wine. Days are capped at 20 volunteers.
- Harvest Tour and Dosage Tasting Rathfinny Wine Estate, East Sussex A vineyard tour followed by your own dosage trial, adding different levels of sugar to a base wine, then a guided tasting of three Rathfinny wines. Runs for about 1 hour 45 minutes on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Some vineyards welcome walk-ins and some don't. 146 vineyards on Vinebound have posted opening hours you can turn up during, and the ones open this weekend are listed above. Others are open by appointment only, and tours, tastings and events can need booking in advance, so it's worth checking the vineyard's own page or website before you set out.
