Valentine's Day falls on Sunday 14 February 2027, and English vineyards mark it with set menus, tasting dinners and evenings for two. This guide lists the events vineyards have announced so far, updated as new ones are confirmed, along with some from last year to show what to expect.

What Makes a Vineyard Good for Valentine's Day Events

Vineyards that mark Valentine's Day tend to do it with an evening for two: a set menu or tasting dinner paired with English wine, with the vines as the backdrop. A few have gone a different way, with a yoga class, a foraging dinner or a murder mystery.

In previous years, the dinners have been the core of it. Essex's New Hall Vineyards has hosted a five-course wine dinner, and East Sussex's Artelium a six-course tasting menu paired with its own wines. West Sussex's Leonardslee has served a candlelit three-course dinner that starts with a glass of its sparkling wine, alongside a romantic weekend stay, and Kinsbrook, also in West Sussex, has put on a set menu built on local produce. Kent's Balfour Winery has offered chef-prepared Valentine's specials to pair with its wines.

Others have tried something different. Norfolk's Flint Vineyard has paired couples' yoga with a welcome glass and sharing plates, Cornwall's Polgoon has run a foraged tasting experience with Zero Mile Kitchen, and Devon's Kenton Park has held an interactive murder mystery evening timed for the Valentine's weekend.

Some vineyards have also sold Valentine's gifts for anyone who would rather give than go out. Flint has offered a bottle of Charmat rosé with a tour voucher for two, Westwell a date-night bundle of a tour and tasting voucher for two with three bottles of wine, and Saffron Grange a dine-at-home box made with Puddini Caterers.
