What's the vibe?

Stonyfield Wine offers a friendly, small-scale vineyard experience in rural Northamptonshire. It’s a family-run operation focused on English sparkling wine, with relaxed open days that invite visitors to spend time among the vines rather than follow a tightly scripted visit.

Stonyfield Wine welcomes visitors - no booking is required to attend.


Tours & Tastings:
Guided tours of the vineyard and tastings of Stonyfield's sparkling wines are included as part of the visit at no charge. No advance booking is needed - tours include a taste of the award-winning wines.


Private visits & events:
Private group events can be arranged in the vineyard garden by prior arrangement. The team are also happy to bring wine, a talk and a slide show to external venues for groups who prefer an off-site experience.


Children & dogs:
Children and dogs are both welcome. The relaxed garden setting and informal format make it an easy visit for families.

Stonyfield Wine, produced at Painters Vineyard, specialises exclusively in English sparkling wine made using the traditional method. The wines are produced from estate-grown Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc grapes.

The wines have received national recognition across multiple vintages. Most notably, Stonyfield Wine secured a National Trophy in 2025, marking the second time the vineyard has achieved this award. Earlier releases have also received gold and silver medals at national competitions, and the wines have been highlighted by Decanter in past tastings.

All winemaking is carried out on site, with production managed from grape to bottle at the vineyard.

By public transport:
The nearest major station is Northampton. From there, visitors should plan onward travel by taxi or local bus services to Blisworth.
