Pinkmead is a private whole-estate luxury holiday rental with its own small vineyard. A guided vineyard tour is included as part of a paid residency booking (staying at the estate) - there is no standalone public cellar door, tasting room, or drop-in visiting option.

Pinkmead Estate & Vineyard is a private rural estate on the Isle of Wight offering secluded, design-led accommodation in a peaceful riverside setting. The emphasis is on privacy, nature, and slow living rather than public wine tourism.

Pinkmead Estate & Vineyard operates exclusively as private self-catering accommodation and is not open to the general public for walk-in visits, tours, or tastings.


Accommodation: The estate offers three independent spaces - a main house sleeping up to six guests, a Yoga Studio, and a Kitchen Garden unit - each available separately or combined for larger groups. All come with river views, a fully equipped kitchen, Sonos system and access to paddleboards, kayaks, Pendleton bicycles, and an electric golf buggy. A baby grand piano, yoga mats and weights add further character. Prices start from £2,750 per unit per week; check the website for current availability.


Tours & Activities (for guests): Staying guests can take a private tour of the organic, biodynamic estate vineyard and the on-site beekeeping operation, both included as part of the stay.


Private Dining: There is no public restaurant on site, but the estate has partnered with celebrated Isle of Wight chefs to offer private dining experiences for guests, from intimate candlelit dinners to hands-on culinary masterclasses. Arrangements are made directly with the estate team.


Private Hire & Events: The estate is available for exclusive hire for weddings, celebrations, pop-up events and private gatherings during spring, summer and autumn. Capacity is up to 40 guests for estate events. A one-day hire starts from £4,500 (inc. VAT); a three-day, two-night midweek hire is available from £6,000 (inc. VAT). The estate is dog-friendly and LGBTQIA+ inclusive for all events. Contact the estate team for full details and seasonal availability.


Shop: Estate products including Samphire Gin are available to purchase online via the estate website.


Open Year-Round: Accommodation is available to book throughout the year, subject to availability.


Pets & Children: Dogs are welcome at Pinkmead Estate and may roam freely across the full 24-acre grounds. Children are also welcome, with guests advised to be mindful of the natural setting and proximity to water.

Pinkmead Estate & Vineyard grows grapes on site and produces a small range of estate wines in limited quantities. Wine production forms part of the wider estate project and is not currently offered as a standalone visitor experience.

The estate promotes a low-intervention, nature-focused approach to land management, with sustainability and careful stewardship forming part of its long-term vision.

By Car: Access to the estate is via a rural farm track. Visitors should follow arrival instructions provided at the time of booking. Vehicle access to the Isle of Wight is via ferry from mainland ports including Southampton, Portsmouth, and Lymington.

By Public Transport: The Isle of Wight is reached by ferry from the mainland. From ferry ports such as Cowes or Fishbourne, onward travel to Newport is possible by bus or taxi, with the estate a short drive from the town centre.
