Exton Park Vineyard offers a sophisticated experience set amidst the rolling chalklands of Hampshire's South Downs, mirroring the renowned terroir of the Champagne region. With breathtaking views and a state-of-the-art winery, it provides an elegant destination often described as Hampshire's best-kept secret.

Exton Park Vineyard operates on an appointment-only basis and is not generally open to the public for casual drop-ins.

Tours & Tastings: Guided tours run on Fridays from 11am to 12.30pm (1 March to 31 October) and on selected Saturdays. The full experience lasts 1.5 hours, taking you across the 60-acre estate before finishing in Exton Hall for a Reserve Blend wine tasting with views over the vineyard. Tickets are from £50 per person. Pre-booking is required, and cancellations within 24 hours of the tour date are non-refundable. Book via the Tours & Tastings page.

Tour & Tasting with Lunch: On selected Saturdays (10.30am–1pm) between May and August, a seasonal buffet lunch prepared by the resident chef is added to the tour. Dates for 2026 are 16 May, 13 June, 11 July and 15 August. Tickets are from £75 per person. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable. Book here.

Opening Hours: The vineyard office typically operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

On-site Dining: Exton Hall features indoor dining spaces and sun terraces available for private hire and special events, known for bespoke dining experiences including events with Michelin-starred chefs.

Private Hire: Exton Hall is available for exclusive use or room-by-room hire for corporate away days, meetings, presentations, drinks receptions, lunches and dinners. Spaces include a 12-seat Boardroom with AV facilities, a Dining Room seating up to 22 at the long table or up to 8 at the chef's table, a Club Room, Tasting Room, Great Hall, Mezzanine and two sun terraces.

Wine Club: The Vault is Exton Park's loyalty programme. Spend £500 or more on wine in a calendar year to qualify automatically - no sign-up fee, no renewals. Benefits include 20% off all wines, a complimentary tour and tasting for two, free personal cellar storage, priority access to new releases and a minimum of two exclusive member events per year.

Exton Park Vineyard is dedicated to producing high-quality English sparkling wines using the traditional method, focusing primarily on the classic Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Their signature range includes a Reserve Blend Brut, Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, and Blanc de Noirs. The vineyard maintains a unique "Reserve Blend" philosophy, drawing on a library of reserve wines dating back to 2011 to ensure consistency and quality across their range, regardless of annual harvest variations.

The wines have garnered significant acclaim, including multiple awards. In 2022, Exton Park was awarded a prestigious Prestige Cuvée Trophy from the WineGB Awards for their Cuveé M. Isaac Blanc de Blanc 2011, also receiving 'Best Wessex Producer.' More recently, their Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2014 and RB28 Blanc de Noirs both won gold medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards in 2024.

Exton Park champions sustainability, being a founding member of WineGB's Sustainable Wines of Great Britain accreditation. They employ natural viticultural methods, including planting wildflowers and cover crops, and utilize solar power to offset much of their energy consumption, showcasing a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and biodiversity.

As a single-estate vineyard, Exton Park controls the entire winemaking process from vine to bottle. They operate a state-of-the-art winery on-site, ensuring precise control over every aspect of production and maintaining a distinctive house style.

By Car: The vineyard is easily accessible by car, situated within the Hampshire countryside.

By Public Transport: The nearest mainline train stations are Petersfield (approximately 11.2 miles away) and Winchester (approximately 12.4 miles away). A taxi from Petersfield takes around 15 minutes, while from Winchester, it's about 17 minutes. Limited and infrequent bus services are available from both Petersfield (26-35 minutes) and Winchester (35-40 minutes) to Exton village.
