What's the vibe?

Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, just 5 miles from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, Furleigh Estate produces still and sparkling wines from grapes grown on its own vines. The setting is tranquil and scenic, with views over the vineyard and countryside that make for a relaxing visit.

Tours: Vineyard and winery tours are available in two formats: the Grand Tour lasts around two hours (from £30 per person) and the Classic Tour lasts around 90 minutes (from £20 per person). Group tours are also available from £45 per person. Booking is essential. Tastings: Self-guided tastings are available from £10 per person. Food is not served as part of tastings, though light refreshments may feature at specific events. Picnics: Outside picnics are not permitted, but visitors booked on a tour can pre-order a picnic from the estate, priced from £45 for two people, with 48 hours' notice required. Children: Tours and tastings are not suitable for children. Well-behaved children may accompany parents visiting the shop to make or collect purchases. Dogs: Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the shop and on tours. Dogs are not permitted inside the winery. Parking: Free parking is available close to the shop. Step-free access to the shop is possible from the rear of the building. Tours involve a short walk across uneven ground and may not suit all visitors - contact the estate in advance if you have specific accessibility requirements. Private hire: The tasting room is available for private hire; check the website for details. Online shop: Furleigh wines can be ordered for home delivery via the estate's online shop.

Furleigh Estate produces a range of exceptional still and traditional method sparkling wines made exclusively from grapes grown on the estate. Their portfolio includes classic method sparkling wines primarily from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, as well as a variety of still wines. The winery facilities were purpose-built to support modern winemaking techniques, including gentle pressing and controlled fermentation and maturation environments. Sustainability practices are part of the estate’s ethos, with an emphasis on quality grape growing and careful winemaking.

By Car: The estate is accessed via the B3162, north of Salway Ash, and is approximately 15 miles west of Dorchester and 5 miles from the Jurassic Coast.

By Public Transport: The nearest train station is Crewkerne, with local taxi services available to the vineyard.
