Four Daughters is a family farm at Hunton, near Maidstone, farmed since 1943. Clive Baxter, who'd contract-grown grapes for a local winery, planted 45 acres of vines here in 2019 across the farm's 200 acres. The label is now run by his four daughters, Lucy, Amy, Emma and Sophie, alongside the fruit side of the business.Visiting Four Daughters
Visits happen around specific dates: blossom walks in mid-April, vineyard tours on picking and blossom weekends, and harvest picking weekends (cherries in early July, apricots mid-to-late July), with tastings available for an extra fee on tour days. There's no casual drop-in, since the farm has machinery in use, so sign up to the mailing list to catch dates, usually announced around two weeks ahead.

The Wine at Four Daughters
Alongside the more familiar Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay, Four Daughters also grows Riesling and Albariño, both unusual choices for an English vineyard. Bottles run from around £20 to £26.
