Wine tastings at the Tasting Barn are by pre-booking only. Currently running Fridays and Saturdays at 11am or 3pm (from 25th May onwards), with other dates available by email request. No walk-in casual visitor hours specified.

Terlingham Vineyard is a small, family-run vineyard set on the Kent Downs near Folkestone, offering a quiet, informal experience focused on handcrafted wines and sweeping views across the surrounding countryside.

Booking: All visits are by prior arrangement - the vineyard operates on an appointment-only basis. Tasting dates for 2025 are still being confirmed, so check the website before planning a trip.

Tours & Tastings: The signature experience is a guided walk through the vineyard followed by a tasting of still and sparkling wines, accompanied by a selection of cheese and breads with tea or coffee included. Priced from £30 per person, booking is required in advance via the events page at terlinghamvineyard.co.uk/all-events/

Restaurant/Cafe: There is no on-site restaurant or café. Tastings include cheese, bread, and hot drinks as standard; visitors with children or additional dietary needs are advised to bring their own refreshments.

Special Events: The vineyard is available for private hire for celebrations, small group occasions, and special events by arrangement. Off-site events and collaborations with neighbouring vineyards are also offered periodically - see the website for current listings.

Accommodation: Terlingham Lane Cottage sits within the vineyard grounds and sleeps two. It offers a king-sized en-suite bedroom, a downstairs kitchenette and sitting room with patio access, and views across the vineyard towards the sea. Facilities include Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, central heating, heated towel rails, hairdryer, safe, and on-site parking. The cottage is non-smoking and open year-round. Dogs: Dogs are welcome and can accompany visitors on the guided vineyard walk.

Children: Children are welcome to join the vineyard walk. There is no dedicated café or children's play area on site, so visitors are advised to bring suitable refreshments for younger guests.

Terlingham Vineyard grows a mix of traditional and hybrid grape varieties including Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Bacchus, Dornfelder, and Rondo. These are used to produce a range of still white, red, and rosé wines, alongside sparkling wines.

Winemaking takes place on site on a small scale, with wines produced in limited quantities. The vineyard places a strong emphasis on low-intervention and sustainable approaches in both the vineyard and winery, aiming to work closely with nature and minimise unnecessary inputs where possible.

By Car: Terlingham Vineyard is located on Terlingham Lane near Folkestone, Kent (CT18 7AE). When navigating, it is recommended to search for “Terlingham Lane” rather than using the postcode alone. On-site parking is available.

By Public Transport: The nearest mainline station is Folkestone Central. From there, the vineyard can be reached by taxi in around 10 minutes.
